Shane Pope on Latter-Day Profiles

Season 9: Episode 9

Shane Pope is a systems engineer for Cisco Systems. Over the past eight years Shane has donated of his time to share his technical knowledge with families concerned with protecting their children from the dangers of the Internet. Shane talks with you and adult groups about such issues as the dangers of Internet pornography, Internet predators, and improper cell phone usage such as sexting, spamming, phishing, cyber bullying, and proper Social Networking techniques.

Brandon Doman on Latter-Day Profiles

Season 9: Episode 8

Brandon Doman is the quarterback coach for the BYU football team. He has coached 4 bowl games. A unanimous All-Mountain West Conference selection and Heisman Trophy candidate in 2001, "The Domanator" led the Cougars to a 12-2 season as a senior with 3,542 yards passing, in 2001 he was 261-of-408 with 33 touchdown passes and rushed for 503 yards and eight touchdowns. Led BYU to a 14-2 record as a starter, ... brothers Kevin, Bryce and Cliff also played for BYU. Doman played three seasons as a quarterback in the NFL. Selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the fifth round of the 2002 NFL Draft, where he spent the majority of the three seasons. In 2002, Doman also played for the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins before returning to San Francisco in 2004. Doman graduated from BYU [2002, B.S in business]; Skyline H.S.[Salt Lake City, 1995]. He served a mission to Bahia Blanca, Argentina. Doman and his wife Alisha have three children: a daughter and two sons.

Heidi Swinton on Latter-Day Profiles

Season 11: Episode 1

Heidi S. Swinton is an award-winning author and screenwriter whose works include PBS documentaries American Prophet; Sacred Stone; Sweetwater Rescue; Trail of Hope; and America’s Choir. She has served on the Relief Society general board and as a member of Church writing committees. She served with her husband, Jeffrey C. Swinton, as he presided over the England London South Mission (2006-2009); they are the parents of five sons, four living, and have four daughters-in-law and six grandchildren.

Rod Hawes on Latter-day Profiles

Rodney Hawes is on the National Advisory Council of the Marriott School of Business at BYU and is a member of the Board of Dean’s Advisors at Harvard Business School. He is the former Chairman and CEO of Life Re Corporation and founded the Investment Associates of New Canaan, Connecticut. His entrepreneurial endeavors include computer software companies, consumer products, and developing the Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchise in several western states. Brother Hawes is a military graduate from Stanford and has an MBA from Harvard.
